Hi all

I may have already asked this question here in the past, but either iv forgotten the answer or I didn’t get an answer that fitted the bill.

I would liked to convert avi's to be playable on any DVD player (in my case an xbox).

I’m not after anything complicated, and im not over fussed about chapters.... just a simple click of the button converter.
Oh and of course, its got to be free :)

If its software with a keygen, it would be nice to have a verified copy rather than some link randomly found on eMule.

Apparently One of the Nero's does it, but not mine (Nero 6).

Thanks for the help.

:bigups http://www.squared5.com/

Use it on my mac - quality is good and the GUI is quite simple.
And it's legal freeware.

Turn shit into blu-ray too.

Thanks :)

In the meantime, someone has given me a cracked copy of Ashampoo Burning Studio 8...........

Well it all looked very nice to start with, but of course after giving it a try, its a load of old shite.

After I got the completed message window, I popped the DVD in my xbox.
Of course, it wont play, I just get some silly message telling me that it doesn’t recognise the disk.

I even made sure I used a DVDR not DVDRW disk!!

You read the forums and they start harping on about Ashampoo burns in REGION 0??
and that DVD- disks will work better than DVD+.

Honestly it makes my bloody head hurt.

I really hope Corel does a better job than this Ashampoo junk.
