OMG ... Personally i think we still have so many different forums here..

I would be a hell of work to find all the shorts posted before and move them to the new forum.

Not to mention that many of them are from different countries and intermixed into single threads such as youtube shorts. I think they don't really need to be split into their own forums, especially not by country - that's just overkill. If they are to be moved, how about a single Shorts forum where [REL] and [REQ] are in the same place. When a short is found, the admin can simply edit the header to change one letter.

Our admins have always done an outstanding job but they're not getting paid for it. ghost is right about the amount of time and work it would take to split all the shorts into even a single new forum... they'd have to go through every message in every forum, move things, adjust things, fix things. I'd also be worried about another database crash with that amount of structural change.

In the end, would splitting the shorts off into their own forum really make FLM better? I've never had a problem finding them so I don't think it would be worth it.

As long as they are clearly labeled as shorts, it's not a big problem. I love the job folks at FLM has done to bring all these nice shorts to my attention.

how about just setting up a section for shorts posted from now on ?
i love short movies but never really know which section they belong.there's a place for youtube shorts and vimeo shorts but there are a lot of clips can be found on several sites and don't 'belong' anywhere.i'll track down all my own posts and just cut and paste them into the new section,and if possible i'll delete the old,though i believe that option isn't always available.

Prefer to leave as is - they ARE movies after all (as I am sure the Directors would argue vehemently), so they belong under the apprpriate country's movie forum.

I rerpeat...is only a poll is not a voting to create in future the sections ok? Just to say your opinion about it
