Until there's a blu-ray, this is the best quality release out there. Starring the gorgeous young
Milla Jovovich as Lilli, a teenager coming of age on an island and falling in love with her stepbrother. There's some ambiguity over her age at the time of filming. Officially they say 15, but if IMDb's production date is correct (summer of 1990) she would've been 14.
Courtney Barilla (~ 8-9 yo) plays the younger Lilli in the first part of the movie. Lots of lovely scenery in this film ... and the island looks nice too.

Some of my other stuff comes pretty close. But I claim no credit for this one, it's not my own. Posted as I found it. A blu-ray rip would be smaller and even higher quality but alas ... no blu-ray yet.

Does anyone still care about the FULLSCREEN NTSC DVD of "Return to the Blue Lagoon"? I have that, and I will try to rip it if anyone wants it.

IIRC at least some 4:3 DVDs applied some censorship by moving the picture a bit downward, but I'd be interested either way.

I'll get to work on it tomorrow. I have not compared full & wide versions for this movie, I simply noticed that I had it when I ripped "The Blue Lagoon" (1980) in full ratio and saw that movie had more image in the full version.

Unfortunately the FS (4:3) DVD of this movie is pan and scan. Not open matte. If you're hoping to see a little more in ... certain scenes, you'll be disappointed. The 16:9 version actually shows more picture.
