This should be someone else who uploaded the data for you, I didn't seed it. Anyway, the sharing is over. At present, the movie failed at the box office and the director lost money, and there is no place to watch it online. The only way to watch it is a DVD that comes with the novel, so there will be no significant upgrade in picture quality. I look forward to the release of this movie on Blu-ray disc. .
Re: [REL] Lan AKA We Will Reunite in Heaven (2009)
I fixed the wrong aspect ratio und the wrong framerate. The preview of my upscale to 1080p looked pretty good.so there will be no significant upgrade in picture quality.

Whatever seeder connected, I finished it too. Thanks!
I look forward to it!
I guess AR of ~1.94 would be unusual.
I noticed some jitter but it was 25 fps. I thought only 30fps caused problems. AND it is 4+ minutes LONGER than the IMDB stated runtime. What kind of wrong framerate change was made? Did someone convert 25fps to 30fps with a DVDrip, making it longer, and then someone else back to 25fps keeping the longer runtime, and somehow without fixing the jitter?
Re: [REL] Lan AKA We Will Reunite in Heaven (2009)
The original ratio is 1.85:1. Even IMDB mentions it.I guess AR of ~1.94 would be unusual.
The orignal framerate is 24fps. Someone encoded it to 25fps, so there is dublicated frame every second (watch the snowflakes in the beginning, they stuck for a short moment). I have a avisnyth script tp remove the last frame of every second.I noticed some jitter but it was 25 fps.
Code: Select all
TDecimate(0, 1, 25)
Re: [REL] Lan AKA We Will Reunite in Heaven (2009)
But I know that you recode 24fps to 25fps all the time because you like 25fps, but YOU do it correctly so that there is no jitter. What is it that you do differently? Do you run that avisynth script every time you convert 24 to 25, to correct for problems? Or is there a special "No Jitter, Please" setting in your software? And what would that setting ACTUALLY be called?
(I am always pleased with what you do but I don't always understand it.)
And any idea why it is longer than the IMDB stated runtime, rather than shorter, as I would expect going from 24 to 25 fps? Is that just a case where IMDB is wrong?

Re: [REL] Lan AKA We Will Reunite in Heaven (2009)
If you change a framrate fom 24 to 25fps you have to speed it up at the same time (Adobe calls it "interpret footage", in avisynth its "AssumeFPS").What is it that you do differently?
If you just change a framerate in your video editor, the speed doesn't get changed ad the video gets jittery.
As you know me, I changed it to 25fps again. And the result is really 85 minutes. And any idea why it is longer than the IMDB stated runtime, rather than shorter, as I would expect going from 24 to 25 fps? Is that just a case where IMDB is wrong?
