the exorcist

is surely ontopic is it not? i'm sure it isn't here.remember that sweet scene with the crucifix

,and the 'peeing all over the livingroom carpet' scene

,the list goes on.Has this escaped the eye of the posters, because it's so shocking?
comments please..

Hmm, I guess you're right. I'd have thunk it would be here - I thought there was a discussion at one time about the extra scenes that were cut out of the theater release, like Regan crawling down the stairs backwards. Brrrrr, that really creeped me out.

I think you are referring to the extended director's cut. Of course I have every version but seems that Starfish is volunteering a release if I am gathering the eerie vibes correctly...

I am almost certain that it was released here at FLM years ago. There have been several crashes of this forum (long before the current admins took charge) and some data was lost.

i was considering a release,i don't have a copy but i'm sure there are many available.i havent seen this since the 70s when it came out,but i do remember 'the making of' the woman that did the voice of the demon had to smoke loads of cigarettes to make her voice sound just right, hows that for dedication.i also remember the scenes where reagan emulates the animals, making 'inhuman' noises and walking upside down backwards, these were deemed too disturbing, they were in the book but not the movie,
There are loads to choose from but i've favoured this version 'The Exorcist The Extended Director's Cut 1973 DVDRip DivX AC3 ENG FRE SUBS HQRip' at 2.4 gig
i'm expecting to be offline for a day or two(long time for me),i'm right in the middle of a gas central heating installation,my furniture is all in crazy places and my house is full of workmen, but matbe i'll fire my laptop up just to check in.

No sweat starfish. This movie has waited this long to surface it can wait some more.
Or this could be a nice chance for someone who doesn't release much or has never released to step up and do one.
