Why is it in the REQ section ? Isn't it the whole thing ??

all movies are deemed requests until a verified emule link is provided.

It is a bit confusing...it is obviously not a request because it is the complete film but for some reason phuzzy wants them here until it has an ed2k link. Perhaps a third section is required.

By the way everyone who is viewing these videos that I have spent hours searching and finding to share for you. If you like one of them an occasional thanks is encouraging and appreciated. I never liked the like button because it gives an excuse for shy individuals to not comment but since no one is commenting hitting the like button is at least something.

I am OK with that.

However I did provide a good range of genres with these shorts. I am sure out of all of them there is something worth giving a positive response to. 90% of what I posted received no response but I see in every thread a like in the post with the ed2k link which means they just want the link or perhaps people thought Phuzzy found them? Since he was kind enough to share most on the mule.

Both releases and requests were in the same Shorts and Streaming Films forum and the requests were getting lost in the crowd so we created a separate section for them. Like starfish says, until there's an ed2k link, they're still requests, even if you can stream them in their entirety. This is the same reasoning as we've always used when, for instance, only DD links were available - once someone downloads a film and posts an eMule link, the film gets moved to Release.

God, I hope not - I don't want anyone to think I'm claiming credit for your hard work. I don't have the time, the patience, or the skill you have in digging out these gems. I'm just trying to ensure they stay alive - too many streamed films disappear too quickly, but once they're on the mule, they tend to be around a long time.

I'm afraid the lack of responses is just par for the course. It's not because people can't post a message - after all, they have to be 'members' to get the download links - but won't. I don't know if they're afraid of us for some reason, too lazy, or are just leeches who only give a damn when they aren't being handed what they want without lifting a finger.

Not really. I have separate folders called Normal, Releases, and Unshared. When I have a lot of releases I unshare the Normal folder and only share it again when all the releases have been downloaded complete a few times. I usually only leave things in Releases for about two weeks, then move them to Normal. Put another way, there's usually no more than 30-40 files in Releases.

When the Normal folder is shared, I check Complete Sources and move anything with more than one source to Unshared. There are usually around 675 files in Normal. This keeps those really rare files available - more popular files can be found elsewhere. I think the number of requests for reshares is a lot lower than it used to be, except for the U.S. forums where I don't download very often. My queue usually doesn't get higher than 30, and of course, the FLM regulars are all in my friends list so they get priority.

Nice, thanks PTG for posting. Btw, when using an eMule link there were no sources at the moment, so instead I used a You Tube one and in a few seconds d/d was finished. Don´t really know why FLM is primarily preferring precisely this method when others are sometimes, not always, better sourced, better available or simply faster.
