I watched that episode and it wasn't bad, but I was confused by this comment.

In fairness to the humans, she was willing and capable of destroying the Enterprise and had to be talked out of it by "the adult in the room". Picard was simply clever enough to realize that he did not have the power to stop her by force even if that was what he wanted.
