Árvácska AKA Nobody's Daughter

Winner, "Best Film" Karlovy Vary
Festival (1976), and the 1977 Hungarian Filmcritics Prize, this critically acclaimed film follows the tragic life of an eight-year-old orphan girl. Living under a government that sanctions money to foster parents, she finds herself shuffled from family to family; with each move she encounters increasingly brutal abuse. A beautifully acted film that explores an all too real pathos. In Hungarian with English subtitles, Color

Just a bad VHS Copy with english subtitles, but this movie really is on on on on on topic!

The picture was much too dark and a bit noisy... So it was a pain in the ass and a lot of editing, but here it is:

(Note: at times in the past opensubtitles has been www.opensubtitles.com. Right now only .org works, so if you ever need to try a link to the .com and it doesn't work, just change it to .org.)

This was a LOT of work but worth it, I love this movie, then again I like good sad and emotional movies and this is definitely one of them...

By the way, one scene (9 minutes in, two minutes long) is missing translation, if anyone speaking Hungarian can help it would be great! I can handle the timing and technical details, I can't handle the spoken Hungarian obviously.

This is great! Well, I've already uploaded Ghost's DVDRip, but no problem. I'll just add it and up it again.

Now, I can finally watch it and understand.
