...and now I finished them.

I guess the subs from last year were done with a quite early version of Whipser. This time I got much better results.

I got a request for the 4K version of this movie - the site that offered it seems to have taken it down. I also decided to include a 1080p version re-encoded from the 4K (next best thing to a bluray rip) for anyone who might balk at the size of the 2160p file.

This was the only credited role for Tarja Airaksinen. As far as I can tell, she was 11 at the time it was filmed. Although who knows? 12 is possible. She never became that big a star so I can't find a date of birth or any other personal info. And no luck identifying any social media accounts for a 78 year old woman by that name who could possibly be her (i.e. posted nostalgia pics from Tirlittan or at least some mention of the film). I give up! If anyone has more information please feel free to share.

Both rips come with subtitles I converted to 24 fps and made a few minor corrections to (like fixing repeated misspellings of the girl's name). Thanks to Ghost for supplying the 25 fps original I worked from.

Here are direct links for those who prefer that method or can't use eMule for whatever reason. All I ask is that if you're able to use eMule, please move the file to your shared folder and seed for a while. Every source helps.

Thanks a lot, deadman.

Are the subtitles the ones I made with Whisper?

Yes, I took the ones you made, converted them to 24 fps, and did a few minor touchups.

You mean you converted them from 25 to 24 fps.

It's great to have this fillm in 4K!

At first I thought the child was 9 or 10 years old because of her size

Than I saw her chest and I was like... "Nah, she's definitely not 9 or 10.. She's more like 12 years old"
