I guess you can stop sharing this version which must also have had the glitches since it originates from the 15gb file..
I fully expect that ghost is working on a revised dual-language remux now that we have a good video source.
Sure I did. ;)

Did you have to manually sync the audio a lot?
I thought it would be done by simply changing the framerate. But the audio was about 500ms shorter! I stretched it by hand little by little until it was in sync.
I didn't expect this.

Are you familiar with these tools when it comes to dubbing? They simplify the process when it comes to having stretch/change pitch of the audio as well as subtitles with different framerates.

FS Audio Converter by QfG

BeHappy

MeGUI

FS Audio Converter does Jobs that BeHapoy/MeGUI do as well.

If interested I can provide all these tools, some aren’t shared widely publicly (old beHappy version is on videohelp for example)

Thanks. I have tools to change the framerate of audio and subtitles.

In this case it wasn't only a framerate issue. So I still had to make the audio some milliseconds longer afterwards.
I did this with Audacity.

Yeah audacity is a great tool (although if I remember correctly it got forked as a new opensource project after audacity developers added Spyware. https://codeberg.org/tenacityteam/tenacity )

I have never heard of that before. Can you provide any proof of this?

turns out it was a bit more complex than I originally thought. But the gist remains the same: The privacy policy was changed and the community pushed back

https://arstechnica.com/gadgets/2021/07 ... t-spyware/

https://fosspost.org/audacity-is-now-a-spyware/
https://www.reviewgeek.com/91165/audaci ... ew-owners/
https://lifehacker.com/is-audacity-real ... 1847230028

The fact is right before they changed the privacy policy, Audacity got bought by a Cyprus based company.

The difference of 4minutes In length between yours and another BluRay version comes from one being a 24fps and the other a 25fps encode?

What was the source again for your 1080p 3.7GB ger-fr version? I still have yours but also the BluRay encodes from FIST (8,2GB H264) and k7 (3,7GB HEVC)

I think it was the uloz file ( https://ulozto.net/file/ORwpqenCqhNo/le ... 987-tv-mkv ).

And yes, it's only the different framerate. There are no different cuts or something of this movie.
