I have to agree with an IMDb review I just read about „beau pere“ and the same goes for the stuff Brooke Shields did: It says a lot about the parents of a child actress when they allowed (or even pressured) their daughter to appear nude on camera as a kid, or in Besse‘s case make out with a ~30yo man.

It’s sad, because Besse performance in „Beau Pere“ was incredible. I’d go as far as to say she outshined Dealaware

Assuming her family aren't the incredibly private sort, I would say it could be suicide, but more likely (statistically speaking) substance abuse issues. Either situation you can understand them not wanting to talk publicly. Of course if they are just very private people it could be anything.

Yeah, Ariel was the real star here. No question. Marion was a stronger and more mature character. Watching the movie I've always wondered what the hell she saw in Remi. She could've found herself a much better guy ... pretty much anywhere. Remi was a perennial slacker who used people to get what he needed. He seemed to have no ambition in life and no spine to stand up for himself.

I don't think Ariel's parents pressured her into anything. She seems to have known there would be nudity, but didn't expect some of the scenes to be as explicit as they were. It sounds (from the material on IMDb) like both the director and her costar kept forgetting how young she really was. Patrick Dewaere was surprised to learn she was a virgin. Ariel didn't quite know how to act like she was getting into it, show real passion, in the ski lodge bedroom scene, and he got impatient with her. Once he got a reality check he apparently coached her on how to fake what she had never experienced in real life. Also that scene where she parades past almost naked earlier in the film, she insisted that they clear out the entire crew. I think the cameraman was the only one left there with her. But the fact that she was setting conditions - if you want me to do this, here's how it's going to work - suggests she wasn't being pushed around.

Her parents objected to one of the movie posters used to advertise the film, which showed Ariel topless and sitting on Dewaere's lap. They even sued the studio to force them to remove it and use different posters but they lost the case. It seemed Ariel was worried about the reaction of her classmates when that picture was plastered on walls and metro stations all over France. It wouldn't surprise me if some of the boys at her school made crude comments to her after seeing it. The studio probably should have been a little more sensitive to the situation. Used a poster that was seductive but not so revealing.

I can't say I download more than one large MEGA file a day so I don't encounter a download restriction, but if I did then I would switch the server on my VPN to get around it. AND I realize that most people neither have nor want a VPN, so I still understand. (I never login to any of my accounts when I download MEGA.)

Cleaning up after extracting large files is critical for me for exactly the reason you say.
It has a bandwidth cap on the file too I think he means - not the user. If hundreds download the same file. One of the films posted here exceeded some limit and never worked despite repeated different attempts, even on different IP's and using JDownloader2.

It is not lost:

SD in 6 parts.
Thanks! I can upload the 2021 doc as well.
I can't seem to point this at JDownloader 2 to get it to download - maybe Ghost knows a trick? Then one day get it subtitled with one of those AI tools. I liked him in what I've seen of him - great character actor. But don't speak French to understand it :(

I think it's a little of both. They limit both the user (which you can sidestep with a VPN) and traffic on the account the file is uploaded to. I have a BD25 image file on one of my MEGA accounts and people have been able to download that. I don't think they cut you off in mid-download, at least it's never happened to me.

The file you're talking about may be corrupt. I once had to reup a file because it stopped working. It halted partway through the download and I noticed trying to play the incomplete file that it would pixellate, freeze, then skip in several places. Uploading it fresh fixed the problem.

From trips to France it was not unusual to see shampoo adverts on TV at all times of the day with topless women in them. That women would go topless on French beaches was a norm. That VHS cases had stills from nude scenes on the back cover of the box was a norm! Still very rare to have it in a poster! There's less stigmatism on women breast-feeding in public in the last 5 years - so things travel in waves.
Anyway - far less stigmatism on this at the time - but to do this when the actress is at school, and when the parents objected is pretty terrible of the studio and would not be tolerated now. You'd just hash tag metoo / write to a paper.

I used yt-dlp on the playlist and it downloaded all 6 parts in succession. (Youtube-dl should do the same.) I think Dailymotion just produces a batch of garbage in JD2.

I could watch a documentary on some cute French actress without needing language understanding, but for SOME GUY? No, I need either subtitles or knowledge of the language to care.

For the French audio, no subtitle Patrick Dewaere (1992) documentary, I appended all 6 Dailymotion parts into one continuous file. The video is unchanged in all its sub-SD oddly-matted glory. I don't think there is any "FLM interest" so to speak, but it is surely of interest to fans of the actor, especially those who understand French.

I made subtitles using the AI subtitle software that Ghost posted about. It seems to work quite well.
I used the freesubtitles.ai method - but it limits the file to 1 hour. So I had to do a LOT of steps.
Convert the audio of the file to WAV.
Attempt to split it at 30m00s
Process first 30mins and wait for conversion.
Process second 45mins.
Save both as VTT. Open the 2nd VTT and add 30m00s.08 as (that's how long the first wav-mp3 was). Then append the 2x VTT's in a text editor. Attempt to remove all the crappy advert lines (it adds blah blah something .org across 2 lines including into mid-sentences!) - then finally save it out as an SRT.
I didn't get duplicates - but I got the advert lines, some single words on some lines. A lot of the subtitles run too quickly when they could be appended and last longer. So it's a bit crude - but the translation seems pretty good and makes sense.

Im deeply impressed by your work ethic and efforts! :)

I will post the new documentary about him later (1080p).
