Valeria is ten years old, lives in a city in southern Mexico and begins puberty. She lives with her parents and her older brother. Suddenly, Julio asks her to live in her house. Valeria accidentally overhears a conversation and realizes that Julio is going to divorce Ana, Valeria's favorite daughter. This late, Valeria is testing how a couple touches the water in a tree. Until that moment she hasn't seen anything or she doesn't remember it. Julio's divorce begins to affect her soul-wise. You fall on her as often as you like and baby more. Valeria wants to observe her body more and is curious about her nakedness, her companions and her relationships. To her surprise Sabina, her best friend, she is going through something very similar and even wants to experience relationships with other kids more quickly. One day, Sabina's parents discover that she has no news about her and punish her in the house. In the school the noises around the Sabina stop increasing. Valeria tries to defend her but she doesn't understand how what Sabina does is necessarily bad. The phone rings in Valeria's house. Valeria protests to meet Ana and be ready.
