Picking a 'favorite' is tough..

Ones that stand out in my memory is a little easier:

* The Thrill of It All (1963):

Doris Day's character gives her daughter a bath. This film rivals 'Laurdagskveld' [farther down this list] as one of the longest bath scenes clocking in around 4 minutes. It's either THIS bath scene or the one in 'Up the Sandbox' that has the little girl jump out of the bath to open the door for daddy...

* Cuore di mamma AKA Momma's Heart (1969):

Mom bathes with her older son and daughter.

* Up the Sandbox (1972):

Barbara Streisand's character gives her daughter a bath. Not sure if it's this movie or 'The Thrill of it All' where the girl jumps out of the bath to open the door for daddy...

* Árvácska AKA Nobody's Daughter (1976):

Famous for Zsuzsa being sans clothing for the first 30 minutes of the movie, I love the little scene where she's bathing in a feeding trough..

* Laurdagskveld AKA Saturday Bath (1976) [TV Movie]:

Two daughters prepare for their Saturday bath, while their parents deal with personal conflicts.. Possibly one of the longest bath scenes on my list clocking in a little over 4 minutes, if I remember right..

* Pretty Baby (1978):

* Le Livre de Marie AKA The Book of Mary (1984):

A companion piece to the movie 'Hail, Mary!', this movie would fit in the 'Mother/Daughter Bath' catagory. It also features one of my FAVORITE child-dance scenes...

* The Coca-Cola Kid (1985):

Actually it's more of a 'Mother/Daughter' SHOWER scene; but Rebecca is just SOOOO damn cute, telling her little story; you can't forget it once you see it!!

* Paperhouse (1988):

Very heavy movie, but I had a crush on Charlotte Burke for awhile after this...

* Angela (1995):

Not in the picture is Miranda Rhyne who plays the titular character; Angela. (But she is in the bath scene.. )

* Lykkefanten AKA Southern Comfort (1997):

Another girl I crushed on because her adorable buck teeth.. She has a fun shower scene in the final part of a trilogy of movies featuring her character 'Ida'; 'Ogginoggen'. That one stands out in my memory as she and a friend are stamping around on some kind of jellyfishy looking-like-blobs, laughing like crazy...

* Send mere slik AKA Send More Candy (2001):

Sadly I remember this trying to be a fun movie, but the main thing I remember is the bath in the ol' wash bucket..

* Muidhond AKA Tench (2019):

The picture is when Jonathan is trying to help Elke with her swimming, but there is a pivotal scene where he finds her in his bathtub and goes ballistic. Another heavy movie, but enjoyable.

As I've been working on this post MORE movies keep coming to mind, but I'm going to give y'all a break and close this out... :lol

Wow thats a comprehensive list and many I'm not familiar with. Although I really enjoyed Angela for that 90s mtv video feel. If I remember right it's directed by the wife of Daniel day Lewis.

It's not my favorite scene but I was surprised to find it where I least expected it.

I was watching a series that, although it does not have space in FLM, but coincidentally an OT scene appears, it had been a while since I had seen it or I had never seen it. Well, it is not broadcast on open television but on streaming, I hope that gives more freedom to entertainment creators, In my experience it is unusual or good, you never expect it.

I think in the past, women directors are less squeamish about child-nudity in their films. However these days, at least in America, with the 'Me Too' movement and the backlash against the Jeffrey Epstein debacle, I think EVERYONE is a little nervous to show any child sans clothing..

As far as Stephania Potalivo goes in the movie 'Ogginoggen', that's why I mentioned the shower scene:

Somehow I forgot the Elisa short that literally opens on a bath scene. The shorts a little bleak overall but it def fits and is one of my favorite shorts I've found here.
