Previewed the file (which is still downloading). The quality is a considerable upgrade from all previous versions. Thank you!!! :icon_1dancingban

Where did you find this, if you don't mind my asking? I've periodically looked for better versions and never found anything but the same old source repackaged.

I've already indicated my sources, there is no secret, so here they are again :

https://rarelust.com

https://humungus-cinebisart.blogspot.com

https://stalkerjany.blogspot.com

https://catalogue.darkino6.top

The last one is often under maintenance and often changes address (the next one will be https://catalogue.darkino7.top ;) etc...)

The quality of Dave's file was good enough to try an upscale to 1080p. And it looks pretty awesome! :P
So thanks again for this better version.

Indeed it does! Thanks for this fantastic edition of the film, ghost. Thanks for the quality base edition, DaveTheBoss.

I want to express appreciation among you more inquisitive members who routinely check these new links and encodes of movies that get posted. I am appreciative of the link from DaveTheBoss, but I assumed it was just another similar quality edition of this movie, so I overlooked it. I am curious where this encode was sourced from.

Me too. The version we had before was a TV-Rip.

It is 480p @ 25fps which is a strange combination that can not decide if it is NTSC or PAL. There is no evidence of a professional DVD anywhere, so I can only guess this was a cable TV (no watermark) broadcast or web streaming of the best available source. With 480p, I will further guess that it was a North American market and the person recorded it from a digital source in real time at 25fps with software on their computer. It is French-language and has the kind of content that might send some of my more sensitive fellow U.S.-countrymen into fits of hysteria, so maybe instead it was available somewhere in Quebec in the last 4 years? I have noticed that it can be difficult to pry some native Canadian films from their fingers, so I suspect some of their resources are a SECRET from the rest of the world.

The subtitles are Timed Text (tx3g) and say "English subs transcribed by: marooned2, CG, 2015" which would be Cinemageddon. They were finally uploaded as SRT with a different timing to opensubtitles last month after being "ripped from video file". Therefore I am guessing that the Cinemageddon video was an earlier one like the SATrip we already had, and the subtitles were repurposed by whoever shared this newer video -- and tx3g was used because it muxes in well with MP4. (MKV easily muxes with SRT, or just about any format for that matter.)

These guesses could very well be unjustified supposition and maybe even a little paranoia. All I really care about is that ghost's final result looks great!

P.S.: The video completed downloading but strangely the subtitles still say Never seen complete, not even from the other 12 people who were downloading the video. Did anyone else get the subtitles? Is the subtitle still shared? Ghost, did you make an edit to them that changed the ed2k hash? I ripped the subtitles from Dave's file easily enough, but I still want the Ghost-Approved version.

Sometimes eMule behaves strangely. Here are the subs:
