A little girl named Caroline from New York City spends a few care-free days in the countryside of Italy with her grandmother. Despite Carolina (as she calls her) knowing only a few words of Italian the two of them manage to bond.

10-year-old Sara Ciocca is absolutely adorable in this story of family, and a girl with nothing to do but spend time with her grandmother, enjoy the great outdoors, and (when grandma falls asleep) explore her dead grandfather's old basement workshop.
