Uloz has a few SD options here:

You may have to give emule a try if you'd like ghost's upscale. ;)
Thank you.

This was another one I wanted to do again.

More natural colors, a little more exposure and upscaled with the current version of Topaz Video AI:

Depression tub is depressing. :(

This is maybe the saddest most soul-crushing dismal thing that was ever actually and convincingly all of those things in film. Because most of them aren't. This is. And your sadsploitation movie sucks in comparison.

This is like the 2001: A Space Odyssey of spirit-crushing.

Personally, I'm too old and dumb to learn that AI thingy, but damn... this is truly amazing. Thank you very much, ghost!

Also, I really love me some genuine Norwegian angst

I am not sure if that is a thumbs-up or a thumbs-sidewise movie review from guava98, but I agree this movie is very sad. When I watch movies like this it makes my small problems easier to bear, even though I know the movies are fictional. If they remade this film in a modernized version I suppose they could add a crazy AI computer to make it more like 2001?

I look forward to this upscale. Thank you ghost!

I like how you put that, citronleaf.

However sad this film is, it is a certified FLM classic. Thank you for this revamped encode of this film, ghost. I look forward to seeing what other surprises you have in mind with the latest version of your fancy software. ;)

Seems that this will be released on Blu-ray:
https://www.platekompaniet.no/film-tv/b ... t-1987-dvd.
Unfortunately, they apparently don't ship overseas, but it's possible it's the same as the version that is streaming on SF Anytime, albeit at a higher quality.

I'm guessing that's the case because there are other films that company is putting out on Blu-ray which have also popped up on there in HD, but there's no way of knowing without getting one of them on disc. In case anyone is wondering, StreamFab works to get films off of SF Anytime but other methods may be possible

I did a double take when I saw the price, then realized it was probably in the local currency. Sure enough 249 Norwegian Kroner is about 23 dollars US. Unfortunately they won't ship anywhere outside Norway, Svalbard is a separate option (probably an extra shipping charge or something).

Are there services who will take delivery and re-ship? I know they have them in Japan. A lot of anime studios won't ship releases to the US so fans order them through these clearing houses with Japanese addresses who place orders and then send them out to customers from there - for a generally reasonable fee. I don't know if anything like that exists in Norway to serve customers in the EU or elsewhere. Guess that would depend on the level of demand being high enough to support it.

Otherwise we'll either have to wait until someone posts the bluray elsewhere or copies show up on ebay.
