I tried to sync English subs from theatrical cut to this extended version
The result was English German mix
If a kind person from Germany can translate remaining parts...

Using Subtitle Edit I translated the non-English to English. So now all are in English.
Also ran the "fix common errors" and fixed a bunch of subtitles - some were seen as their start time was after the end time.
It seems well timed to Ghost's 25fps extended version release.

Here's subtitles for the 24fps 10gb "non extended" 2h11m44s version. It actually has a superior picture being a bluray rip. Someone posted it before - but MKV Merge warned me the file had issues with overlapping subtitles.
I ran it through Subtitle Edit and applied some of it's "fix common errors"
Note - you can merge the video and audio into one file using "MKV Merge GUI". I find that it helps to first detect the video frame rate of the video using VLC / MPC-HC - then set the video FPS in MKV Merge GUI to the same.
If playing on a PC and you don't care to join the files but want to view subtitles then do the following depending on the player...
- If playing in VLC name both files the same name apart from the file extension, eg. Dschungelkind (2011),1080p,bluray,dts,x264.mkv + Dschungelkind (2011),1080p,bluray,dts,x264.srt
- If playing in MPC-HC I belive you have to do the following name say film.mkv and film.eng.srt

Do I understand correctly that you did a human translation?

Subtitle Edit translation is a machine translation is how I interpret that.

I asked because Subtitle Edit can be used in both way - for macihine and human translation

True, Subtitle Edit can be used for typing just the same as Notepad can! I just did not think anyone would say "Using Notepad I translated the non-English to English." Well, I won't speak for David32441. I just think I am right.

I made a test and used Subtitle Edit autotranslate option and compared the result with file posted by David. Used Notepad++ compare pöugin
The result was identical... so it is machine translation

I am happy to get machine translations for free, especially when other people do the work for me! I do not demand that a German speaker do a line-by-line translation for free when there are other options available.

Thank you David32441 for your subtitle file. The end of the movie has some German text displayed on the screen that looks like it says what happened to each character after the ending. This part was not translated. Would it be possible to add it to the subtitle file? The version I'm asking about is the extended release.
