I have been anxiously awaiting the date when I could legitimately move this thread from "Forthcoming Releases" to "Requests", and wondering if that would happen before it reached the FOURTH page of posts. Thankfully I was able to skip that step and go directly to "Releases".

After I get Quickone's petite eMule file and if I like it, would someone be willing to get the 19.3Gb 2160p HDR Atmos file and share it on eMule for me?

(Don't try to understand my sense of humor, but I am joking.)

This is the third time in a few years that a spooky movie I was HIGHLY ANTICIPATING did NOT disappoint me!!

One was Pahanhautoja AKA Hatching (2022). More recently was Late Night with the Devil (2023) ..

This movie is SERIOUSLY fun! (A little heavy on the foul language [sorry for being such a prude-y little B*TCH, but I'm just getting tired of everyone's dialogue being interchangeable as they all continually spout variations the same 4 letter words every 5 - 10 mins...].) Still it was an absolute fun twist on the 'Vampire' genre.

I loved Alisha Weir in Matilda: The Musical and she got me by the juggler vein in Abigail!!! Ripped a chunk right outta my throat!

Like M3GAN (2023), Abigail sets itself up as pure camp shortly into the movie. All that really was missing was a little more screen-time for Abigail.. Alisha is rabidly watchable as the titular vampire-ballerina... I really wanted to see more of her 'slaughter dancing'.. .

I'm hoping they've already started filming 'Abigail 2' as Alisha is at the age now where she will start to look older very quickly.

Spoiler: Since Abigail is supposed to be 'centuries old', it just wouldn't look right for an eternally young looking vampire to suddenly start 'popping out' as puberty sets in... Let's at least get ONE more Abigail movie before Alisha ages out..

That's exactly what I was thinking, Kev, but knowing Hollywood they will pull some stuff like "Oh she lost her powers and started to age so now she's trying to get them back." Time to start a regiment of puberty blockers so you can do another Abigail movie. (kidding, of course.) But honestly, I personally felt like the Orphan prequel, for example, was an abomination while critics were supposedly "impressed" by how they made her still look young I just thought she looked like a weirdo who never started dressing like an adult.

Spoiler: (ok granted, I guess that's actually what she is )

Now that more people have seen I can be more specific about my admittedly minor issues...

Spoiler: 1. too many vampires IMO. The movie is called Abigail, after all. I hated that half the cast turns into a vampire by the end, but not only that, even newly made vampires were a match for her. I went to Abigail to see Abigail kick ass. 2. There was an odd amount of time spent on character development. Did I really need to know the background of a character that was dying 2 scenes later? It's odd because I did kind of like some of the characters, like the buff Elon Musk looking guy, but they ended up doing so little it just felt like wasted potential. 3. Did we really need to meet her dad? That felt like more Marvel universe style setup than anything necessary to the story, and it made the movie feel like it had 2 climaxes when it only needed one.

Again, these are minor issues, but what can I say sometimes i like complaining, especially when it's something I otherwise enjoyed.
