[REL] Gun (2016) [USA]

Post by ghost »   41 likes

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt6172988/
When 8 year old Cassie discovers her heroin addict mother has hung herself, she sets off to find love in the only way she knows how. She throws on her mother's red dancing dress, paints a heavy face of makeup, and heads down the railroad tracks 'to the big city' seeking affection. GUN is an Arthouse flick that's a little provocative, a little humorous, slightly awkward, and deeply backwoods southern gothic.

This is certainly not a movie I'd expect to get made nowadays. And I am intrigued by the choice of super 8. Thanks for discovering and sharing this wild one, ghost.

For some reason it seems that our clients can't connect to each other anymore. I don't know why. :(

That's strange

Because I can connect with other FLM users (As I was able to easily download files earlier)

I was able to download the short film Elisa earlier today and I didn't think anyone but Ghost would still be sharing that

The download has started (I don't think it's Ghost)

I see the eMule username of the person sharing it.. It's someone from FLM since there's an [FLM] in the username

But who that is.. Is still a mystery to me

They seem to show up in every download I do

When I was talking about Pausing eMule downloads I should have mentioned that if Pausing a download is used, it should not be done frequently or back-and-forth Pause-Resume in quick succession. Emule will automatically BAN Aggressive Clients which will cause an inability to download from the targeted Source for an unspecified period of time.
https://www.emule-project.com/home/perl ... show_topic
The new client system will blacklist clients which reask too often (more than once for a file within 10 min), and they are not allowed to download from you. The blacklist is cleared when you restart emule.
This means that the Source whose Emule Cient has banned you from downloading needs to restart Emule to get you off the Ban List. You can not do anything yourself except wait. Not that I am successfully uploading much anymore, but I typically have closed and restarted my Emule once a day to reset Ban Lists and everything else.

I have long suspected that other downloaders will run afoul of Emules hidden rules and get banned without necessarily doing anything deliberately aggressive, so I made sure to give them another chance at downloading from me. Back when I was frequently uploading with HighID, anyway. Some days now I do not run emule or torrent clients at all.

My advice for downloading is still the same. Be patient. Do not try to force anything. Ghost is right that Pausing is not necessary and does not help. (I do as I please because much of the time I do not care if I am unable to download a particular movie.) Don't fiddle around with your Emule client. Just load the files into it and make sure the Status is either Downloading or Waiting and NOT Paused or Stopped and then leave it alone. Don't sit and watch Emule. Go back some hours later and see what is completed. When you have to shut off Emule and your computer, go ahead and do it. You can resume Emule another day and once it has found sources it will resume downloading where it left off.
