Thank you Snake for the file, and szijarto for the first post!
Snake's is the theatrical version at 116 minutes and had many fast eMule sources. Szijarto's was apparently the 177 minute TV version. (!!!) Sadly Ulozto no longer does public sharing.
The only English subtitle at opensubtitles is for that long version.
To get English subtitles for the 116 minute version, I Google-translated an Italian opensubtitle in SubtitleEdit. It seemed readable enough. Then, because of a comment in another thread I thought that maybe I should look for English subtitles for the shorter theatrical version in eMule of all places!
Sure enough, I found subtitles that seemed to be professionally translated. They were much better than the Google version, but they were missing many lines. I combined the two versions to fill in what was missing, and added a number of lines that were spoken in accented English.

The girl in the movie IS really cute! At first it seemed that too much focus would be on the crime drama and she would not have enough screen time. I WAS WRONG! I would like to see more of her of course, but the time spent on the subtitles showed me the importance and intensity of the emotional relationship drama. I am ready for the longer version with another hour of footage.
Found in eMule and VERIFIED, the LONG TV VERSION and ENGLISH subtitles to go with it!

I can see extended scenes as well as scenes I don't recognize. Sadly the added material seems to be mostly mafia plotting rather than more footage of our young romantic couple, but that it what I expected.
