Italy, 1997. Clara and Irene, both 17, meet at a summer camp organized by the hospital who treats them. Clara is shy while Irene is untamed - they instantly become inseparable friends. Instead of going back to their families, they decide to run away to a faraway island off the coast of Sicily to live their first summer as young women. Noée Abita is in her mid-twenties and LOOKS IT and is playing a 17-year-old, too old on both counts.
The other actress I don't know her actual age but also looks mid-twenties, not a child.
