In the immediate post-war period, among the rubble of a Naples bent by poverty, the little Carmine and Celestina try to survive as best they can, helping each other. One night, they embark as stowaways on a ship headed to New York to go and live with Celestina’s sister who emigrated years before. The two children join the many Italian emigrants seeking fortune in America and disembark in an unknown metropolis, which after many adventures, they will learn to call home.

I just finished watching this movie, it was really nice, an adventure with 2 children protagonists between brother and sister until the end. I won't give any spoilers, but I can tell you that most of the scenes are also spoken in English with some English actors. I highly recommend you watch it, I'm sure it will be one of your favorite movies, I guarantee it.

Watch it in 4K when it comes out on March 6th, so you can enjoy on your big screen this spectacular adventure movie between locations (some scenes of prostitute sightings), sunsets etc. There will definitely be subtitles because the 2 children protagonists speak with the Neapolitan dialect throughout the movie.
