[REL] Pretty Baby (1978)
Re: [REL] Pretty Baby (1978)
Yeah I feel like if people like ghost wanted, they’d share their uploads/shares with filehosts in the firSt place.
eMule releases meant certain exclusivity that is taken away when every popular post gets mirrored to filehosts (that will attract the average online user)

Re: [REL] Pretty Baby (1978)
Maybe I am looking at it the wrong way, but I figure it should be OK if *other* people are willing to reshare content by different means. That way, ghost and the loyal eMulers do not have to be bothered with something that they do not enjoy. If someone else does it then that means less hassle for them, right? I just can not find the sources for the huge amount of movies that ghost does, but I can reshare what I download from eMule and not just ON eMule. That is probably what thecyanray was thinking too.
Keep in mind also that anything available on eMule is available to ALL eMule users, not just those at FLM. Unless the uploader gives the file a coded name (like jezevex does), then it is at least clear what the movie is to anyone who bothers to do an eMule search. That does not qualify as exclusivity to me, but rather a Free For All. I have a question: There is not any way to search what content is available generally on filehosts, is there? International law enforcement can figure out how to access anonymous file hoster content, but that does not mean that I can. We can not just snoop around and see what other people have uploaded to MEGA or pixeldrain or fichier unless the links are posted on a forum somewhere, right? If I understand it properly, then the direct download links posted here are ONLY visible to people who go to FLM and thus MORE exclusive than any correctly-named file on eMule.
For all I know, it is exactly the widespread availability of files on eMule that ghost LIKES. I don't pretend to be a mind reader so I am only guessing. I really hate to say this but if anyone on FLM does not want their files reshared by direct download, please say so. I will be very very disappointed but I will respect your wishes. I am not here to make enemies, I like it and am grateful for what is available. I just want to try and help those who maybe can not quite figure out eMule, and I do not think they will invite me over to their house to play on their computer and set it up for them.
P.S.: Regardless, thank you for the thread bump. I have seen "Pretty Baby" before but did not even realize there was another version other than just alternate language dubs. Very interesting... Some of the critical and audience response to "Pretty Baby" seems to mock the acting ability of Brooke at the time but I think that is unfair. I think she behaved believably for her character. Just exactly what level of intellectual sophistication do they expect from the badly educated daughter of a prostitute, growing up in a brothel? I think it reasonable to expect that a young prostitute would be "shallow" and place all their value on their appearance. Well, DUH. That was part of their job, like it or not. Just look at Susan Sarandon's performance in the same movie. Susan herself is very intelligent (like Brooke) and easily a better actress, but her CHARACTER was shallow and not particularly bright. She was just smart enough to recognize a good opportunity to get out of that job and she took it. That is a matter of pure survival rather than intellect. Her next-best choice would have been to become a drug-addled old madam.
P.P.S.: I like Brooke in the pinball movie "Tilt". viewtopic.php?t=1443&f=25

Re: [REL] Pretty Baby (1978)
Of course people should share content, I'm all for it!!! - movie links, torrent links, direct download links, a lot of people don't get access to eMule, like me
As on the TNT forum there all share direct links to movies, - Of course, there are people who are only for their own profit share - upload to paid file-sharing,site (there are many sites, until you buy a premium account or VIP subscription will not download anything)
I agree there are exclusive vidios, where a person pays for the content or buys a movie, orders in a single copy DVD movie, which is not available anywhere, it is certainly his right, he can share it, or not
Thank you very much to all who share direct links to movies, I appreciate it very much

Well spoken, citronleaf. Personally I will only give up eMule when they pry it from my cold dead hands -- even though I am frequently unfaithful to it. I appreciate your acting analysis, something I am not used to seeing here much!
P.S.: I also like "Tilt".

Re: [REL] Pretty Baby (1978)
There are and were in the past URL aggregators for various filehosts. They scraped the web for those links I believe. There once was a site called megaLinks or so that collected thousands of mega.nz links. I just searched for it and only found this: https://meawfy.com/citronleaf wrote: Mon Nov 11, 2024 2:04 am Keep in mind also that anything available on eMule is available to ALL eMule users, not just those at FLM. Before the French filehost UpToBox got taken down there was also a site that had soo many URLs from there collected.
https://www.broadbandtvnews.com/2023/09 ... ate-sites/
https://torrentfreak.com/uptobox-was-sh ... it-240418/
NSFW filehosts like bunkr.org also have their very own search function for PUBLICLY shared URLs: bunkr-albums.io
But no, privately shared pixeldrain or mega.nz links are not searchable/findable until they have been posted publicly.
Re: [REL] Pretty Baby (1978)
Wow, meawfy actually gave some correct search results although mostly for music-related items. It seems the best way to hide movies more securely from their search is to randomly rename them something like 68#68@65cgas6&DD#$%89, RAR them, AND add a password. That way the search does not reveal anything obviously interesting, and only people who go to a site with posted links will know what the files are. Thank you for this interesting information.

Re: [REL] Pretty Baby (1978)
Well, it took a lot of patience, but I finally got subtitles in sync with ghost's latest upscale (English track). What I started with was totally off from reality, and I couldn't just bulk shift everything, it was all different amounts (sometimes to the degree of six+ seconds!) and some subtitles were on screen for the wrong length of time. I would consider the result satisfactory, it's not down to the millisecond, I don't have the time for that.
Please let me know if any parts are particularly bad, send the timestamps and I'll re-upload the file. It's my first time working with subtitles.

You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

Thank you Blessings.....thecyanray wrote: Sat Nov 09, 2024 11:44 pmI'm surprised that this hasn't been uploaded for direct download before, but here is a link!ghost wrote: Sun Oct 25, 2020 11:00 am Upscaled and enhanced to Full HD using AI technology, colors corrected and again 2 audio tracks (German and English in sync)
[Code] Note: If you can use eMule, please do so. I would also encourage placing the file in your sharing folder for some time, this is obviously a very popular film and more sources are always helpful.

26 GB is heavy for eMule.
I will skip it because it is one of the many cropped versions. Thanks anyway.
