too much colour, not enough? I'm curious what you didn't like about the previous version? I saw a lot of grain in the earlier version - more than in the previous 1080p version I think - but it helps to hide the upscaling artifacts I think? Grass I've seen often has a tell-tale pattern about it's upscaled nature - especially doubling the resolution.

Among other things, there was too much black and details got lost.

I can present a completely restored version of the movie in HD.

For the first time I used professional film restoration software which also the film industry uses.
(It was a pain in the ass to learn. Thank you, my teacher )

I removed all the dust, dirt and scratches from the picture (and there were a lot!), upscaled the film to 1080p and did some color corrections.

It has been tested as working on PowerDVD (and potentially TotalMedia Theatre). VLC has problems with the soundtrack.
