Does the movie have scenes that is not present in the series?

Also, thanks for the DDL

There is nothing extra in the movie. The series is the complete version, but most of the additonal footage is repeated credits. In this thread we might have discussed what little is added to the series but I don't remember.

I discovered that Pillowbaker posted MEGA links for popdrome's files, so I really did not need to post pixeldrain too!

From what I gathered about the movie version, it was nearly exactly the same thing, as Night has mentioned. No real lost footage. In addition to the repeated credits, there is that sneak peak of a few seconds of the next episode at the end of episodes 1 through 3. "Next time on Mariken..." And the repeated credits were actually quite nice due to the song that Mariken/Laurien sings in it.

One thing that makes ghost's version of the movie worth keeping is the slightly better upscale he has given it. The colors in his encode are noticeably more full and vibrant. I honestly wish I could sit my butt down long enough to learn how to edit the Dutch audio track into it from pop's upscale of the series version.

Hey Moonee, I do recommend watching Mariken to you. Her character is such a delight! As a fan of all the tomboyish girls here at FLM (and there are not too many), I'm gonna have to disagree with you about the hair.

Maybe I should watch her on screen (with both her short and long hair) before I comment on which hairstyle I like.. I just went by images lol

I'm not sure if she has long hair in Mariken (But I'm pretty positive she does in Moonlight)

I have Moonlight on my pc.. just never got around to watching it yet

As far as the hair goes in Moonlight, well, I do not want to spoil it for you. Let's just say, maybe we can both be happy? If you haven't watched it yet, I envy you. It is a wonderfully harrowing and strange film. It's the kind of movie that made me search out more, indirectly leading me ultimately to FLM. It is not THE movie that lead me here, but one of the many stepping stones I discovered along the way.

When you do end up watching it, I've like to hear your impressions. No rush, watch it when you have time to enjoy it.
