Trailer from amazon

You have to be in Spain - or load the page with your VPN connected from Spain. When I do that, I see it's one of those third site referrals. Many Amazon films either require a purchase from Amazon or a subscription to another channel. The movie is shown being offered by a platform called acontra+ which you must subscribe to (although you get a 7 day free trial). Trouble is, when you go to their site Ya soy mujer! is no longer being offered. The service looks a lot like mubi: it's got a rotating selection of movies that are available for a period of time and then leave the platform.

I'm guessing that's the source of the two HD files in this thread. Someone captured the stream while it was available.

Amazon Prime Video doesn't accept VPNs. You'll need a DNS proxy like this one: www.smartdnsproxy.com.

It's like a lot of other content on Amazon that requires you have a subscription to Apple TV, Paramount+, HBO Max, or whatever. Amazon is just the gateway. Even someone in Spain couldn't play this video because it's no longer available on the hosting service.

But you won't be able to play the video with a VPN connection.

If I was in Spain, it would tell me the film was no longer available and I couldn't play it anyway. This is different from purchases through Amazon itself which tend to remain playable (if you purchased it) even after no new orders are possible.

How is that service different from a VPN? Does it complement VPNs, or is it meant to be used separately?

Your IP doesn't matter on Amazon Prime Video, but your DNS server ("name server") must be located in same country.

This happens if I connect to amazon.com with a VPN from the US:

Even if acontra+ site itself says it isn't available as your screenshot says it will be available on amazon prime

I have done a similar sub on amazon for nfdc
I can play their films on amazon prime even though they are not available on nfdc anymore

if you can find the way to get the free trial and get the dns vpn thing setup it should work.

Myself I can't seem to get the dns or proxy to work.

Nice! So I was wrong, acontra is not the source of the version we have. I'll see what I can do about getting access, if anyone happens to live in Spain or has an active subscription to acontra+ and can capture the stream it would be worth your while. I'm curious about what else might also be included that we haven't seen before.

It might just be a trailer thing though.
The smaller file seems to be from amazon (acontra sub) its 25fps has the same image as amazon embedded and has acontra mentioned in intro. It's just not the highest bitrate version.

Larger file is 30 fps and doesn't have the acontra intro could be a screen capture of the same though.
