It can be annoying but SBS rarely does soft-coded subs for their non-english titles

I just looked at jezevex's file again. It is 24 fps while the SBS is 25 fps, so jezevex's is slower and runs longer. Yet it is TOO much longer for just the framerate so it probably has additional scenes. I can not imagine anything in this movie that would prompt censorship so I do not know why the SBS would be missing footage. Maybe my download failed somehow? Or maybe it is a case of political correctness run amok? I don't even want to think about it because I don't want to guess what might offend someone.

SBS without advertisements: 1:34:36
SBS with advertisments: 1:40:51 (an experimental download on my part)
Jezevex without advertisements*: 1:41:15

(*I have scrolled back and forth through it and can not see any footage that does not belong to the movie.)

IMDB stated runtime: 1:38:xx

If the SBS video had the exact same footage as jezevex's at the faster framerate, it would be about 98 minutes.

This is definitely something I would rewatch anyday.. I haven't watched the movie even once yet but I just skipped through a little bit of the SBS movie and she is definitely really cute

No, your download runtime is correct

I watched every ad on SBS and kept track of each ads runtime and subtracted it from the full movie and I got 1 hour, 34 minutes and 36 seconds

I can not imagine anything in this movie that would prompt censorship

I could be wrong but I don't think SBS censors their content anyway

Like an example is the nudity scene in 20,000 species of bees with Sofia Otero is uncensored (If they did, this would probably be censored)

I downloaded the sbs file and jez file and been watching both side by side to compare


I'm just gonna post all the difference I found in this 1 post in spoiler tags


Difference #1

Spoiler: In jez file, at about 14 minutes and 30 seconds In the SBS file, at about 14 minutes They are currently doing a hurdle event Once, the hurdle event finishes and the scene changes, the SBS version is missing roughly 30 seconds? of the next scene

Difference #2

Spoiler: In jez file, at about 38 minutes and 30 seconds In the SBS file, at about 36 minutes and 15 seconds The girl is giving another girl a birthday card? once that scene finishes, jez file switches to some concert event (This entire scene is missing from the SBS file)

Difference #3

Spoiler: In jez file, at about 48 minutes and 15 seconds In the SBS file, at about 44 minutes and 55 seconds Some blonde haired women (Detti I think her name is?) comes to babysit They talk about playing a video game called Super smash bros Jez file than switches to an old lady asking what super smash bros is This entire scene of the old lady and the breakfast scene right after is missing from the SBS file

Just finished both movies

The 3 difference above is the only major differences I could find throughout the movie.. Those 3 difference should make up for the loss of sbs runtime


(Also, i don't get why people are so fixated on FHD compared to HD.. I really could not tell much difference at all between SBS 720p and jez 1080p)

It depends upon the size of the screen. I do not think it is noticeable on a laptop. But if someone watches movies on a 70" screen then they probably want 4k resolution. If they are downloading huge 4k files just to watch on a small screen I think that is silly!

Yeah, on the same laptop (Had half the screen with 1 video and the other half with the other video)

I did have to pause the SBS file every now and again so Jez file could catch up

Anyway, an example is, the "It's dangerous, especially with cute girls" Screenshot I posted above.. That's 720p and the quality to my standards is amazing

Not only did you watch the ads but you timed them too! That is just wrong.

Thank you for going through and figuring out what was missing. Maybe because SBS was a TV station for a long time before they added streaming, this movie version was edited for TV to fit a 2-hour time slot and get more commercials. If so, they could have kept the streaming version longer and promoted it by encouraging viewers to login online for the "Special Uncut Extended Director's Cut, With Even More Commercials Too"!
