Censorship
Re: Censorship
A bit of joshing/ leg pulling between friends is fine. When my friends and I get together we say and do stuff we certainly would not tolerate from total strangers. I believe as long as we don't enter hurtful territory such tomfoolery is acceptable and healthy, and should not be discouraged.

I guess we are doing the censorship for them, in our heads. Always thinking about what might happen...
It hasn't been always so. Here is the front cover of "Der Spiegel" (famous German news magazine, edition size over 1 million) of May 23rd, 1977. Eva Ionesco was 11 years old.

So let us at least fight for the freedom of the press!

I don't have this pdf file anymore, but it is included in the extras of the Maladolescenza BD: viewtopic.php?p=132480#p132480
"Der Spiegel" is a German magazine, so it is written in German.

Re: Censorship
Can anyone recommend a good free online site for translating PDFs? I want to read the articles and I don't know much German.
(Weird, I don't remember seeing that PDF in the extras. I will have to take another look.)

Re: Censorship
Is it an Easter egg? I looked again at the BD and the closest I can get to the Der Spiegel magazine is what looks like part of a page in the slideshow.ghost wrote: Sun Dec 14, 2025 10:33 am I don't have this pdf file anymore, but it is included in the extras of the Maladolescenza BD

Re: Censorship
It's correct, there's no explicit material present in the menus, the extras would probably be many times lengthier if it was present. If that is something you need, programs like BDEdit exist to edit disc menu materials, although I'm sure there's a sensible reason why it wasn't included to begin with.

Re: Censorship
Maybe I am slow today so please bear with me. You are saying that the PDF of the Der Spiegel issue or screenimages from it are NOT in the BluRay, and that I should stop looking for it there?
Re: Censorship
I thought the article was in the extras (or a part of it). Now after KingFisher's reply I'm not 100 % sure anymore.
Mr Fisher?
