I guess I could just use your german Audio track and mux/merge it with the bigger BluRay encodes?
I remember that I had to cut out about 10 seconds somewhere in the middle of the movie to get the German audio track in sync. But try for yourself. ;)

Jeez, with all the films you’ve shared, dubbed, upscaled over the years… your memory is impeccable!

Never heard of this film.. I just randomly came across it while browsing IMDb
I think I'll watch this only for the girl in the red jumper (at 00:37:23 in Ghost MPC-HC screenshot)
She's cute

Why does having german audio make it more superior? (Unless people like watching this movie dubbed..)

You know, I've never asked but I have always wondered.. I noticed Ghost adds German audio to almost all his files, why is this anyway? (Just out of curiosity)

Very simple answer: Ghost and I speak German natively. So it’s nice having the German dubbed audio track as well with movies and shows. And sometimes these are actually quite rare or difficult to find because the German version aired 20years ago only once on television. So we rely on people having recorded it and shared it :)

I can not claim to know more than one language myself, but I am sure that the multilingual have one language that is easier for them than others. Millions of people around the world prefer dubs to subtitles, and in a language that they understand better than the original language. If they want to read or do research, they read a book. With a dubbed movie they can keep their eyes on the picture and most movies are for light entertainment rather than intense and serious effort. I spent decades insisting on original language or NOTHING. This was made easier for me because so many English dubs are painfully awful. But now that my eyes are old and tired, I more often choose an English dub because I am less interested in focusing on English subtitles. Much of the time I have a movie playing on the TV while I work on the computer, so most of the enjoyment is from what I hear. I can also appreciate the problem of paying enough attention to the FILM when reading subtitles: similarly, I have always had a difficult time reading comic books / graphic novels because I have to STOP READING and look at the pictures too! And those damn illustrators get all arty and don't stay consistently left-to-right. I don't know what order the pictures should be viewed!

I still insist that some of my most enjoyable movie viewing has been of movies in languages I do not know, WITHOUT the benefit of subtitles that I do know. I am forced to engage intently in what I see and not rely on language to understand. This is not a tiresome intellectual effort but something more emotional and intuitive.
