I stopped using bsplayer because of problems like this. I verified that the srt doesn't work on my two-year-old copy of bsplayer, but it does with vlc and vobsub.redcat wrote:To me, sub doesn't work with BSplayer and VirtualDub. Anyway others subs work for anothers films. It's not the first time I have this problem. Maybe a bad OS installation...
I originally saved this using in Aegisub, the audio waveform display makes it easier to get the timing of the subs right. After your report I opened them with SubtitleWorkshop and re-saved them. Voila! They got saved slightly differently and now work on my bsplayer.
I re-uploaded the updated version to OpenSubtitles and shared the new version via eMule. Anyone who got the original srt, if it doesn't work for you, get it again and try the new version. Or if you have SubtitleWorkshop you can just open then and re-save them with that.
I edited my earlier post above and changed the links. Thanks for reporting the problem so I could fix it!
