I daresay your version isn't worth the trouble. Strange framerate (29,97 fps ?!), and you made a 16:10 movie to 4:3 just to get black stripes... :eyecrazy

To Kev: yes, I have looked later on at RFF, so it´s now clear. Watching the trailer I´ve concluded that this isn´t my cup of tea.

Releases at the "Unlisted"-forum are marked with the country of origin. This was the topic you clicked upon to get here: [REL] Mosquito der Schänder (1976) [Switzerland]. Of course, you may go to RFF if you don't believe it...

To be clear, it was my version in as much as I downloaded from a private open nap server via WinMX, and wasn’t available on eMule until I shared it there.

About the 'strange' frame rate:
To be technically accurate, NTSC video runs at 29.97 fps. The reason for the odd frame rate dates back to the transition from black and white television to color TV signals, where the 29.97 fps rate was chosen to ensure backwards compatibility with existing television sets. There are still 30 frames, but they run 0.1 percent slower than actual time, resulting in an actual frame rate of 29.97 fps.

29.97 fps is the normal NTSC format. That`s all.

Hmm...shouldn't eMule show 23,976 fps, the rate before the pull-down, as does Media Player Classic etc.?

This is truly a strange film and other than the 'moon' scene which lasts for maybe 30 seconds, it's not on-topic at all. Google Translate gives "Mosquito the Molester" (as in molester of dead bodies) instead of Rapist while IMDB ( http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0074920/) gives the alternate title "Bloodlust". In any case, to me the movie was boring and not worth keeping. I'll leave it shared for a few days but will probably trash it soon.
