It's a rare Lithuanian short based on a H.E. Bates short story (Death & the Cherry Tree), and IMO OT for the forum. IOW get it.

Thx popdrome, this is very nice film. Very visual, long sequences without dialogues, but then again some conversation one can´t catch without subs. Highly visual and highly philosophical movie, kind of Bergman for kids About such matters like death etc. The girl has strong Russian accent, but the language isn´t Russian, unfortunately for me.

The film was made in 1968, during the existence of the USSR. Needn´t be mentioned under Russia? Kidding, really needn´t.

This rip is 308MB's compared to the original which was 686MB's.. (Plus; this rip has that annoying Russian Voice Over-dubbing..)

I don't have the original link available to me at this moment to compare, but it's nice to have this short film available to a new generation of FLM'ers...
