While starting off as a traditional creepy house endeavor, this morphs into a full-blown action-horror flick. The baby's got an ugly mug and has a short fuse. The filmmakers know this, so they do the right thing and toss in an absurdly long, extremely bloody slugfest between the little girl, the baby, and anyone else who's unlucky enough to get in the way. I kid you not, the final series of killings and attacks last a solid 40 minutes! Some of the death scenes are really cool too.
Thanks for the reshare! According to some of the reviews on iMDB, this sounds like a cool movie. I think I'd like watching a little girl in a "slugfest" with a monster. :dance

This was great! I laughed a lot - I know that's not what the filmmakers intended, but it was funnier than the typical US horror flick, which I laugh through too. I guess I can't overcome the feeling no intelligent person is going to walk into a house when a demonic voice says "Don't go in there", and as soon as something like the critter in this film made an appearance I'd be outta there, especially after multiple people get killed in novel ways. You can almost see the Star Trek red shirts pasted on the people you know will soon be fodder.
Spoiler:

I also laughed at the stereotypical heroic Japanese male who has his arm ripped off with only minimal bleeding and still somehow manages through mighty effort to rescue the helpless female. I'm not trying to be disrespectful or insulting - that scenario seems to be a standard Japanese chiche, reenacted over and over in their films.

Nako Mizusawa plays a 15-year-old (DOB October 1, 1993), and is pretty good considering the role she was handed. She didn't start getting tough until almost the last 10 minutes of the film, and even then didn't do the typical I've-had-all-I'm-gonna-take-from-you-and-now-I'll-get-mine. Instead, she "rescues" Tamami and hands it back to their mother, who promptly walks into the burning mansion, and she didn't bother giving first aid to the armless hero, probably because he wanted to just tough it out.
No "OT" at all, but still an enjoyable flick.

That was a link Ghost had in his signature and it's probably not active any longer. The download links work just fine.
