While Eluveitie always belonged to the fastly growing European folk metal scene, they always brought some fresh wind into it: Eluveities sound is authentic, traditional Celtic folk music combined in a unique way with modern styled melodic death metal. With their new Album "Everything Remains (as it never was)" they have managed to deepen every aspect of their already inimitable style and maybe more than ever can only be described by their own description "The New Wave Of Folk Metal".

In any case, I love this song and there are others by them on eMule. It's unusual (for me) to see a hurdy-gurdy being played. I have every kind of music on my mp3 player including Celtic, Arabic, native American, Spanish, French, Czech, Hungarian, Russian, English, and others - my coworkers are always wondering what I'll play next. Thanks for bringing their music to my attention!

Thanks for the info. I downloaded 3 of their albums and I must say their music is quite good - as long as the one guy who only screams at you in a guttural voice doesn't open his mouth. I'm not a real fan of metal but I even like some of their driving "excited" music because of its Celtic/Gaulish sound... and then the one guy starts screaming and ruins it. My son tells me that most metal bands do that - maybe I'm just too old to appreciate it, but I have a low opinion of someone's "talent" who screams at me instead of singing, especially since other members of this band can sing. In any case, I now have about a dozen new songs to listen to, so thanks!
