You also need to mention the specs of your computer so we can help you figure out what kind of horsepower you have at your disposal. Capturing and compressing video and audio all at the same time needs a lot, so if you have an old PC you'll have to do it in stages, ie. first capture with relatively low compression (large file size), then work on the captured file on your HDD (recompression) to reduce the overall size.
