Suggestion for new forum

Post by billanben »   0 likes

Have talked this over with debaser and agree would be good idea. Can we have a forum for TV Series (and maybe move appropriate ones there that are known to be in other forums at the moment). At this stage I don't think would be a need to "subdivide" further at this stage into REQ and REL - although if it picks up would be an option.

What do you think Ghost/Rich and everyone ?

Hmmm to my humble opinion there is no need fot this.

We have movies/series by country... Why another forum

Why not just tag TV-series with [TV] in the headline?

It would make it easy to spot. Another thing, why do we continue to tag releases and requests with respectively [REL] and [REQ] after dividing these into different subforums?

Yes, indeed we don't need them anymore, but if you have time to remove the [REL] and [REQ] to all our posts please go ahead :

Two good points - second one is force of habit, will have to stop that now. The idea for a separate forum was so could see at glance if was series or no, but whatever majority agrees is fine by me. From now I will tag TV to series as per mongodisco suggestion.

Ghost: we can leave the old posts for now, but just state that, those [REL] & [REQs] tags are not necessary any longer in new posts..

The problem I see here is, what if a REQ or REL is put in the wrong section?.... Granted it will be obvious if there is a mistake once you read the topic posted, but it could still get messy if unchecked for a while.

Posting in the wrong sections isnt a regular mistake, but it happens, and is it such a big deal to keep the REL/REQ tags?
