Synopsis

Years later the unlimited eff orts to achieve Perla’s dream are transformed into a nightmare for both of her daughters. According to the director, the popularity of beauty contests has earned the Venezuela
the reputation as a country of beautiful women and that there are no more beautiful women in the world than here. The media ensures that this vision is rooted in the psyche of Venezuelans.
