that's the best way to do it , just rename it .avi ;) and windows media player classic will play it best :bigups

also as ghost says you need beginning and end so make sure you ->

options tab -> extended settings -> check "advanced controls"

then you can right click on the file and select "download parts needed for preview first" :bigups

You just need to use vlc and the appropriate plugin - nothing more. For what its worth, I have the plugin installed but have all settings disabled and works beautifully !

I have already explained the procedure in my posts above. If you can't read them, or don't choose to follow the instructions, there is nothing anyone can do for you.

Allso to Tassus

Sometimes there is insufficient data for "proper" preview - you will see no timeline when you open, and sometimes you just get a blue screen (not the dreaded BSOD !!), you will find this will run for a bit, stop, maybe run on for small time further and then stop for good. The ONLY solution is to download more parts.

Seems the sibermutant site is offline. :( Anyway, here's my copy.

http://rapidshare.de/files/27517605/vlc ... 2.zip.html

Extract the contents into the vlc\plugins\ directory.

VLC is the one I been using in a long time. I'm happy with it.
