It's 2065. Young Corry is about to leave with her family on a generation ship bound for a world 24 light years away. This is the story of her last night on Earth, and her final goodbye with her best friend Anna who she will never see again.

15-year-old Milli Wilkinson plays Corry and 16-year-old Imogen Tear her friend Anna in a bittersweet tale that makes you - or at least it made me - question whether her parents were really thinking about what was best for their daughter.

Here are direct links for those who prefer that method or can't use eMule for whatever reason. All I ask is that if you're able to use eMule, please move the file to your shared folder and seed for a while. Every source helps.

YEAH! Having grown up watching Star Trek, I found myself rather conflicted on this point. Though ultimately I had to wonder ...
Spoiler:

If life on Earth was so awesome that she really did not want to leave, then why didn't she just run away and hide, letting the ship leave without her? To hell with her parents, they made their choice!

But then I realized that in the near future, everyone will have GPS tracking chips implanted in them, and she would be found right away, doomed to a life aboard a sterile spaceship as breeding stock and slave labor.
Thanks for this one! I really like humanist sci-fi stories.
