[REL] Les Enfants de Timpelbach (2008)

I think this is the first movie in 2K in this forum
Thank you.. I'm curious.

I've posted two that I can recall, Goluboy portret and Excuse Me, Santa - although I'm fairly certain both are upconverted 1080p (hard to be positive without a 4K monitor). Others must have posted them too. I just don't remember off the top of my head. Anything around 2000 x whatever fits the general definition of 2K, although the standard format 2560 x 1440 is often called Quad HD and could be considered "official" 2K. No matter how much they try to standardize formats there's always stuff that falls between them.ghost wrote:I think this is the first movie in 2K in this forum![]()

Thank you for the upgrade, popdrome. I've always been fond of this movie!

Subtitles have been found:
https://www.opensubtitles.org/en
Also, a lot of cinema high-end digital cameras shoot with a 5 megapixel sensor that's about 2560x1080. I wonder if that's why this has this strange resolution? I know RED's go higher than this - but the one the industry use as it gets arguably better range - forget it's name. It's sensor is about this size.
I've re-encoded it myself back from h265 to h264 in Handbrake to 1920x900ish (not 1080p because of the 2.35:1 ratio) so I can play it on my mediaplayer. I would be unlikely to see the difference on my 55inch OLED with my eyesight, and I have no laptop connected to my TV that can play h265 at this resolution!

I remember reading this thread but it looks like I missed downloading it, hmm. Thank you Dave for the bump!
I see that
Adèle Exarchopoulos at about age 14 is in it.
