Very cool, PTg..

Looks like the same director/producer that brought us the short film 'La Valiente'.

It appears there's another child-themed film they've made called 'EL CASTIGO [aka 'The Punishment'] about a young boy that won't eat his part of his dinner and is told to stay at the table until he eats everything. Years pass and the dynamics of his family change drastically before his eyes as he stubbornly holds out.. Actually a pretty interesting film and the longest of the three clocking in at over 17 mins...

'Penfield' is the most incomprehensible of the three, I think. Not sure what's happened in this lady's life, but it seems she might have suffered some kind of loss...

Still the young girl is very cute... :heart

Thanks again for this newest addition to the FLM library, PTg! It's most appreciated!! :thumbsup

Found this one while looking for an upgrade to 'La Valiente. Whenever I find a film that is FLMish I check to see if the directer or writer may have done other films that may be of interest. I saw EL CASTIGO too but it didn't catch my interest. :|

I think you are right. My interpretation is that, similar to how someone may feel when they lose a limb, for example they may feel a tingling sensation or an itch coming from where the limb used to be but be unable to scratch it because it doesn't exist anymore, I think this woman has lost a child. Maybe she died or maybe she even drowned at that very same beach. She feels her daughter is still with her and no amount of 'scratching' will let her get rid of that feeling.
