Just watched the trailer for this. What a stunning an strange film. This definitely looks worth a watch.

Well, pillowbaker; it's not so much 'atmospheric' as it is 'Arthouse Esoteric': There's no linear story, just voice-over driven images.

(Some viewers have put it in the 'Documentary' category, but much of the film was staged and the 'arthouse-yness' just doesn't lend itself to being a 'True Documentary'.)

As ghost said;

The voice-overs are sparse, and occasionally there's a dialogue between an older person and a child. There's a LOT of jungle scenery with lush, thick vegetation. Some barren, wasteland ?beaches? shots. Shots of native kids, usually a couple of boys, searching the forest, getting water, roaming the forest some more...

Eami, though characterized as a young girl [you'll recognize her in a leather skirt] for the sake of some of the dialogue, is essentially all the native people, all the forest, all of THEIR world. The main imdb synopsis explains it as:

Eami's homeland is invaded by settlers. Embodying Asojá, the bird-god-woman, she falls into trance in which she walks slowly and stunned through her beloved forest as she prepares to leave it forever.

While some of the dialogue eludes to that, it is a VERY arthouse movie: Best enjoyed by those that understand the subject matter being relayed in the voice-over monologues, OR those that simply LOVE 'Arthouse' films.
