AKA The Glass Cape or Misty Kid of Wind

https://www.imdb.com/de/title/tt0171431/
This beautiful tale is set in a small mountain village in the early 1920s. Fatherless Karin, who lives alone with her ailing mother, meets and befriends Saburo Takada, nicknamed "Mata Saburo of Wind". She and her classmates gradually realize that he has superhuman powers, and he becomes her protector. Escaping horses, attacked fish, the restoration of hearing in a deaf ear, and other astounding incidents divide the student into two opposing groups.

Oh! I missed this post earlier.

I'll certainly take a look at this little obscurity. I am almost done with the Mariken book; I'll look into this right after.

I think my efforts at whisper translating with Japanese could certainly use some improvement. I ultimately felt like some of my lines became a tad "overwritten" as I was focusing on each line for quite a long time. I was trying to get every element of meaning. Perhaps my next attempt with read more naturally.

Ok, cool!

Btw, thanks for the vote of confidence, ghost! Perhaps it is my imagination. I was using three AIs, google and deepL to elucidate meaning, and I was continually reigning in the AIs (especially deepseek, which went wild). After figuring out so many options for so many lines, I think it was hard to have confidence in what I decided sometimes. But if you say they are good, I'll believe you! But I can be totally receptive to criticism to my work in this area, if anyone were to venture forth with some! I did show a scene to a friend of mine, an unabashedly critical observer, who did say, "sorry, but not good. Does not read well." This was to an area of dialogue with more than two characters at once, and I thought I was clever at containing the meaning. But alas, I was compelled to see I should take some suggestions and modify.

This new film here looks pretty fun, and looks like it was filmed around the same time. Maybe that will make it easier! I'll give it a go. :D

It just so happens that blizzardkid has MEGA links in addition to the pixeldrain!
[Code] [Code] ************************************************************************************************************************** [Code] [Code] I have not downloaded either one yet. I noticed that the smaller file is over 26 minutes longer than the other one and the IMDB time! Does it have commercials, maybe?

Dude, that would be awesome.

I just got back from a long trip. May I ask that we wait until around this Tuesday to begin?

One of the areas that I think would have helped the most with Portrait is if I had someone to compare whisper transcription srts with. I noticed previously that your transcriptions frequently picked up areas that mine missed (and I suspect mine had the same thing going on). I ended up no fewer than 50 files by the time I was done, from multiple transcriptions using different profiles and services. I also used lossless cut a lot to narrow down difficult passages that I ran through the same services.

I'll start some transcriptions tonight and get to work on the first part of the movie on Tuesday.

Sure, we can wait. ;) I didn't start yet.

Here's my eMule link:

Like this post to see ed2k links  [3.50 GiB]

I reduced the filesizze from 14.8 GB file to 3.5 GB and restored the original framerate of 24 fps (for smoother motion).
