I've never noticed the Bump topic option before

And Idk what it would do if i click on it

I've tested it for science, it bumped the topic to the top by changing the posting date of the last comment.

Also, what's strange is the option doesn't appear in every thread

I did a quick test and it seems the option does not appear for threads I haven't posted in

But... I'm still confused because there's a few threads I've posted in that also doesn't show the option

Seems to be only for threads you've started.

Then maybe the last comment needs to be yours?

Edit: Some looking through my posts seems to confirm that. But it's not the only condition.

Did another quick test and sounds like there's 2 ways the option shows

1) You need to be the Thread Creator (You do not need to be the last poster)

2) You need to be the Last Poster (You do not need to start the thread)

If you meet any of these 2, the bump topic option will show

I think that's how it works

Edit: It also doesn't show for recently bumped threads, only older threads (maybe page 2 and beyond?)

Nevermind, it doesn't go by page.. It goes by time from the last post (Idk yet how much time has to pass for the bump topic option to show)
