[REL] Little Red Riding Hood (1997) Christina Ricci

Just stumbled upon this dark retelling of the tale with a 17yo Christina Ricci. :onfire

IMDB link:
http://imdb.com/title/tt0119552/

I've been a Ricci fan since 'Mermaids'; so this is a little treasure to me! ;)

It's an 11 min B&W short, and there is only voice over narration; no dialogue from the actors. Possibly some of the oddest lines I've heard uttered on screen in a totally SERIOUS manner!!

Pix [from the small file]:

The little cat said, "A SLUT is she who eats the flesh of her Granny..."
"Where should I put my apron?" asked the girl.
"Throw it in the fire; you won't be needing it anymore..."

The smaller file is the only one I've finished loading so far, and the quality is pretty bad as you can see from the pix. But there is a much bigger file, so hopefully THAT one is better!! :pray

Again this is a very strange little indy short that you can find being played on the 'Sundance Channel' occasionally. Well worth a watch, ESPECIALLY if you are a Ricci fan like me!! :bigups

I'm impressed. They actually managed to make Christina Ricci look beautiful. Most of the time she looks a little 'Adams Family'ish, but not here.

and if she lost that forehead, she'd almost be hot.

agreed. And if she'd have a thinner face, maybe slightly more chin she'd even be very pretty. ;) ;)

LOL

and if she reduced the size of those mammaries (hangers), I think the transformation would be complete.

Anyhoo, I still think she is cute, but I thought she was best in the Adams, especialy part two in that swim costume.
