I still don't seem to get any sources. It must be the proxy I'm behind. Can't help it though because it's my service provider's proxy.

I saw you downloading "Quand j'avais 5 ans je m'ai tué" from me a moment ago (if you use the same nickname in eMule), so your connection works, but yes, you have lowID, so finding sources may take longer. Even with highID, it may take a couple of hours to find new sources in the worst case.
