Yeah, on second thought.... If there is a song in a movie and you simply make a clip of that and release here, that's fine. But don't make your own edit compiling controversial scenes from different parts of the movie and putting them together with a soundtrack, even if the soundtrack is from the same movie. Leave that to the professionals. They can get away with a lot more than you can.
Eg. take a look at the post I made for the music video from Mermaids (The Shoop Shoop Song). In the movie, this song comes right at the end when the credits are rolling. Obviously you can't make a clip of that.
The video I posted is the music video officially released by Cher to promote her song. It has scenes from the movie, along with footage not in the final cut of the movie. They can do that; you should avoid it.
