Heat wave
The U.S. is in the middle of a looooonnnnggg heat wave. The central part of the country has had temperatures in excess of 90°F (32°C) for several weeks. It topped out where I am at 104°F (40°C) four days in the last week. Even the statues are taking notice.

Thank God you have Fahrenheit. 104°C would be worse.

I live in the desert. It is a cool 104 in the shade here....

Heatwave? i know it's a bad thing,and people have died from it,but right now we're in the middle of the wettest summer in history,we've just finished the wettest june since records began,and so far july has already broken the records for the first week,

So you are saying you don't like it where the sun don't shine....
I would like to have at least some moisture. The plants here always look like they are dying or dead. Cacti and Tumbleweeds a plenty.

We've had both - the hottest summer for years - 46 deg C - followed by incessant rain bringing blessed relief.
