Due to the smart and adept boys They can be saved and the gangsters can be arrested.
Another DEFA film. This one was a pain - the original .MPG format file I got had the running time messed up in VLC, though it played correctly for the correct 76 minutes (IMDb says 79). The time was correct in Media Player Classic but the picture was screwy. I used Boilsoft Video Splitter to trim off the junk at the start and end of the MPG and convert it to AVI. This also fixed the reported running time and reduced the file size by half without changing the picture quality noticeably.

Still amazes me how there always seems to be that 'just-one-more' pre-year-2000 movie out there...

Great job bringing these DEFA movies to FLM. Phuzzy! :thumbsup

I've still got 3 or 4 in the works - just want to download them complete and make sure they're relevant. So many "children's films" (or kinderfilm) turn out to have only adults in them or aren't worth the bandwidth. I've gone ahead and released some of the less-than-stellar ones because there's not much else around right now. Summer's always a slow time - I'm sure it'll pick up again. This one was actually pretty good in a Hardy Boys kind of way.
