Another DEFA film. This one was a pain - the original .MPG format file I got had the running time messed up in VLC, though it played correctly for the correct 76 minutes (IMDb says 79). The time was correct in Media Player Classic but the picture was screwy. I used Boilsoft Video Splitter to trim off the junk at the start and end of the MPG and convert it to AVI. This also fixed the reported running time and reduced the file size by half without changing the picture quality noticeably.defa.de wrote:Wolfgang from Berlin, is on a visit at the Baltic Sea region. Along with the local kids he is playing in a blown-up bunkers on the beach. When the children discover an old wreck in front of the coast, They get curious and want to explore it. Especially Wolfgang finds it a lot more exciting than the bunker. One night, They take a boat to examine the mysterious wreck. The enterprise turns out to be quite dangerous, however. On Their arrival, the boys are being detained by gangsters who use the wreck as a staging post to smuggle explosives into the GDR. When the police, who have gotten wind of the smuggling Already, the boys start to operational 'life is in great danger. Luckily, the police arrive just on time. Due to the smart and adept boys They can be saved and the gangsters can be arrested.
